Getting to Bocas

From outside Panama, you fly in to Tocumen International Airport (PTY) in Panama City via most major carriers.  Daily flights include Delta Airlines from Atlanta, Continental Airlines from Houston and American Airlines from Miami.

Flight time directly from Panama City to Isla Colon in Bocas Del Toro is approximately one hour.  Air Panama and Aeroperlas (domestic airlines) have twice daily flights leaving from Albrook Airport which is located approximately 30 minutes from Tocumen International Airport, so be sure to plan for this transfer when making your flight plans. 

Getting to the Blue Marlin Resort

Once you arrive in Bocas, take a taxi and tell the driver that you’re going to Carenero.  He will drop you off at the “Carenero Water Taxi Dock” on the waterfront in Bocas Town, located between the Cable & Wireless office and Barco Hundido nightclub.  (Each time you visit Bocas Town during your stay, you can conveniently catch a water taxi back to the resort from this dock.)  Tell the water taxi driver you are going to the Pickled Parrot restaurant.  Our resort is located on the eastern side of Isla Carenero, just five minutes by boat from Bocas town.
